The Treatment Pod from Garden Hideouts has been fitted out to suit a wide range of therapies, both conventional
and alternative. It provides a warm, private place for your patients away from the house, and the natural
appearance of the structure is especially appropriate for holistic practitioners.
From an integrated sound system to a ceramic bowl and tap, there is a great deal in place for the medical
practitioner or therapist. You can also customise elements of the room, such as the wall coating and lighting, to
create the environment most conducive to your particular treatments. And if you have other specific requirements
please discuss them with one of our sales consultants.

A full size counter is situated across the back wall. This provides a large work surface around 3.5m in length on the 4m Pod and 2.5m on the 3m Pod. This stylish but practical unit has an exposed plywood surface with a bull nose edge. There is the option of a Walnut upgrade which will be applied to other units such as shelves for continuity. With a 600mm depth, the counter is perfect for housing a computer at one end and as a convenient focal point for consultations with clients.
There is ample drawer space under the counter (up to 12 drawers) which is ideal for keeping notes, records and files. If you wish to store equipment here, we can supply an alternative suitable drawer pack. For towels or other specific treatment items, there is a set of floating shelves located on the curved Pod wall. The standard shelf has the contemporary look of exposed edge plywood, or will be walnut if this upgrade has been chosen.
A small vanity unit is provided complete with surface mounted ceramic bowl and tap. Hot water is available via an electric powered heater.
There is some versatility available when it comes to lighting, allowing the practitioner to achieve the ambience most conducive to successful treatment. The standard fittings are downlighter which provide a good level of light without glare. For a more subtle, atmospheric effect you could specify wall lights and softer downlighting. All lights are controllable from a stainless steel dimmer switch.
The Pod is fitted with 2 speakers and an integrated sound system, which allows music or sound effects to be used for relaxation or other therapeutic purposes.
The entire floor is fitted with Quick-Step Impressive laminate flooring, which not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also has a water-repellent ‘Hydroseal’ coating to provide a durable, splash-proof surface. The wall coating can be chosen to help create the kind of environment most suitable for the specific form of treatment.
Underfloor heating combines with high-efficiency insulation to provide a supremely warm and comfortable environment. The heating is operated via a timer unit so the room will be always comfortable when it needs to be, even for the earliest appointments.
Polished chrome 240v sockets are spaced around the Pod to suit specific needs. All sockets come complete with a USB adapter.

My therapy pod... I would just like to say, I am so impressed by the work and skill carried out. The pod looks amazing and all my clients are so impressed by the whole structure and all the little finishing touches ie. the rope and fittings. I liked that I was kept informed and updated throughout with pictures of the progress, nothing seemed like too much. Your team's attitude towards myself, the pod and the care of my house was excellent. They put up with all my annoying questions too! You have a great team working for you and I feel it's important for you to know this from a happy customer. All my clients want a pod in there gardens now!...Michelle Riach
Thank you too to everyone involved in building my Shepherds Hut, I love it. This morning we had a removals firm move all my fabrics and yarns into the hut and everything is going to look wonderful, after a massive tidying session! I am delighted and will enjoy working in such a special space. ...Christine Bell
