My therapy pod... I would just like to say, I am so impressed by the work and skill carried out. The pod looks amazing and all my clients are so impressed by the whole structure and all the little finishing touches ie. the rope and fittings.
I liked that I was kept informed and updated throughout with pictures of the progress, nothing seemed like too much. Your team's attitude towards myself, the pod and the care of my house was excellent. They put up with all my annoying questions too!

Thank you too to everyone involved in building my Shepherds Hut, I love it. This morning we had a removals firm move all my fabrics and yarns into the hut and everything is going to look wonderful, after a massive tidying session! I am delighted and will enjoy working in such a special space. ...
Our garden rooms come with a wide range of floor plans and features to cover a host of uses, for leisure, accommodation or work. Discuss your needs with one of our consultants and we’ll ensure you get the Hut, Pod or Arca that fits the bill precisely.
Generally speaking, our garden rooms can be installed without planning permission because they are covered by permitted development rights. If there is any doubt, however, we’ll let you know when we undertake the free site survey.
Making the most of limited space is an art in itself. We’ve learnt all there is to know about the subject through years of designing canal boats for accommodation and pleasure. Our garden rooms reflect that know-how in every millimetre of space.
You can look forward to years of pleasure from your garden room because we design and build to the most exacting standards. Every joint, every feature is crafted and thought-through to be durable, practical and pleasing.
At Garden Hideouts we won’t keep you waiting. Once you’ve finalised your order our designers and craftsmen will get to work and can often complete your garden room within two or three weeks.
At the outset we’ll carry out a site survey to assess the area and give you a fixed price for placing your Shepherd Hut or Garden Pod in your chosen spot. Delivery and installation is usually around 30 days from point of order. Everything is handled by our own team so its quick and hassle free.
the quality story
Garden Hideouts is a natural development of our longstanding canal boat
business….we’re the small space specialists, using all our acquired design skills
and painstaking attention to detail to create rooms in the garden that will give
pleasure: year after year after year after year.
enjoy your space whatever the weather
Your Shepherds Hut or Garden Pod has been built to take whatever the British
climate can throw at it. The method of construction is one commonly used in
Canadian house construction for a rigid and robust structure. (If it can stand up to
North American weather there’s going to be no problem with ours.)
What’s more, the insulation is deep and high performance, composed of 100mm of
rockwool. This keeps things cooler in summer and of course beautifully snug in the
winter. So any items can be kept inside all year round with no worries about frost or
humidity. It’s the completely weatherproof environment...
a home from home.
