The Story
Why this hideout was designed, and why it’s successful.
This hotel in the North West of England hosts up to 200 weddings each year and was looking for a luxurious lodge in their woodland grounds to host bride and bridesmaids on the eve of the wedding.
Accommodating up to 6 people, the lodge has a king-size bedroom, lounge/dining area and bathroom with spa tub and walk-in shower room.
The lounge/dining area is also a bedroom for the evening with super comfortable sofas and armchairs that convert into beds.
The interior of the lodge, with its beautiful wall coverings and moody lighting, was designed by our sister company Bayswater Interiors. They also sourced all the fixtures and fittings to ensure complimentary design and colours throughout.
The large bi-fold doors in all 3 rooms lead onto a large, external open decked area for outdoor drinks & dining during the warmer months.
The lodge also has a widescreen TV, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee, room service facility and drinks fridge.
Thicket Lodge is now fully operational and taking bookings on a daily basis.
