Creating a garden games room or a ‘den’ for the children can function independently as a year-round facility for entertainment and leisure, no matter what the younger side of your family enjoy doing in their spare time.
From gaming to pool or snooker, board games or arts and crafts – a garden games room can be the ultimate escape from the main house. It also means the mess created is confined to one space and kept away from the main household.
At Garden Hideouts, we offer a solution with our modular, structurally insulated garden gaming rooms that serve as highly functional entertainment spaces. If you’re passionate about delving into the gaming world, then having a dedicated games room is an ideal choice.
If you want to install storage, an art space, technical equipment, beautiful lighting, or mood music to perfect your craft in style then that can be delivered. Our garden rooms are completely insulated, energy-efficient, comfortable and designed to last.
While we specialise in bespoke designs, we also have standard models too. Here is the perfect model for any Garden Games Room.

I’m a beauty therapist and after seven good years working for a high street salon, I decided to go it alone. The decision to work from a garden pod at home was a moment of inspiration that gave my business an instant head start. he Oasis Pod has given me a real USP in the area. So many thanks for the professionalism of Garden Hideouts – I was in safe hands from the initial survey to the final handover.

You’re only five steps away from your dream space.
Garden games rooms can be tailored to suit various interests, but popular features often include a pool or snooker table, a dart board, and electronic game setups with consoles. You might want to include comfortable seating for board games or card games, and a good sound system for music.
To make your garden games room comfortable regardless of the season, it’s crucial to focus on insulation and heating. Effective insulation will help keep the room warm during the winter months and cool in the summer. Installing a heating system or underfloor heating can provide warmth and add a cosy ambience. For the warmer months, you might wish to consider options like air conditioning or large fans to maintain a comfortable temperature.Â
SIPs are made by sandwiching a layer of insulation between two structural layers. The insulation is often in the form of foam, and SIPs panels commonly have Oriented Strand Board (OSB) walls. This makes for a very strong and energy-efficient panel that can be used to build walls, floors, and roofs.
This depends on the use of the room and most importantly the size of it. Our team can advise on the best approach to gaining permission should it be neeeded.
